Soundtrack is Complete

Hey everyone. I just wanted to point out that the Soundtrack is complete and on YouTube. Just check out this link and you'll be good to go! Once again, special thanks to Rory Bezecny and George Looks More Closely for that tremendous effort. George Looks More Closely is looking into an album deal which may well include the two tracks they did for Dieselworld (Mina's theme and Jacob's theme).

As soon as I can, I plan on doing a write-up on some of the backstory that fed into Dieselworld. This includes an aforementioned hilariously-awful middle school short story that influenced the character of Mark. Stay tuned!

Ending Will Be Up Tomorrow

Dieselworld will conclude tomorrow.

It's been an awesome journey, and I'm glad that you were there to see it--even if you're reading this for the first time, long after the last entry is published. Please, tell other people about this, and please feel free to give me feedback yourself.

I'm told that there's just one more track for the soundtrack that needs to be recorded. When that's done, I'll post all of the remaining tracks to here and YouTube.

Plus, as you'll see, it's not all over. In the weeks following the final entry I'll be making some posts about some elements that fed into the story, which will include a hilariously shitty short story I wrote in middle school that became part of Mark's story. You will laugh, because I suck.

And the story itself may not be entirely over either.

Anyway. It's been a blast, you guys. Thank you.

Soundtrack Update, and Another Dramatic Pause

Hey guys. I just wanted to talk to mention real quick that the soundtrack has once again updated, with Inspector Fox's theme, "Headhunter". This is easily my favorite by far, and is, once again, a creation of the wonderfully talented Rory Bezecny. Same procedure as always: just click the image to be linked to YouTube.

Spooky human-eyed foxes await!

It's on that note that I say now that we've got another dramatic pause. So, no updates for a few days. If these last forty-odd updates have seemed weird to you, I can say, speaking vaguely, that we'll be going back to something familiar soon. I would hope it goes without saying here that I do have a plan (I mean, the story's already written), but I should reassure you anyway, just to be safe.

I'll see you in a few days!

Soundtrack Update!

It's the Emperor's theme. Probably my favorite of all those that have been released lately.

Credit goes to the amazing and beautiful Rory Bezecny for composing and performing it. Click the picture below to check it out on YouTube.

The Emperor's Theme.

Thank you all as always for reading. We're really picking up the page views, but we actually have gotten zero comments thus far! Speak up, yo! What do you like? Who's your favorite character? Is this all confusing and long-winded and do you want a summary or plot thread map? Or is it too simple and you want me to put in a thousand pounds of extra time travel? LET ME KNOW, YO.

...

...YOOOO.

BEHOLD

Soundtrack Updates!

I've decided to release two tracks today--mostly because I falsely reported on Tumblr the other day that I would be posted Madame Levingt's theme, when chronologically, Klaus' comes first. And I didn't want you guys to think I'd forgotten about Klaus. After all, he's my favorite character.

So here you are! From Rory Bezecny..."Reflections in a Beer Stein" and "Voodoo Queen". Click the identical images below to be linked to the videos on YouTube.

Once again, thanks for both listening and reading. Please feel free to leave feedback in the comments, on anything at all. I like to hear from you guys!

Soundtrack #2! And Pause #Whatever.

Yes, friends, it's true. To commemorate fifty entries, I've decided to post the second track on the Dieselworld album, composed and performed by Rory Bezecny. This is Susie's theme, "Farm Girl".

Click the image to go to YouTube for the track.

This is also a bit of a gift to you all, because I will be gone until Monday at MetaCon in Minneapolis, and as such there will be no updates till then. I'm going as an attendee, I should say (who the hell do you think I am?), but if I have any fellow Minnesotan fans who really want to cosplay one of the, what, five characters I've introduced in Dieselworld so far, go for it. Though I'm not sure how you could, as they just sort of look like normal people. I mean, Doctor Kai wears a slouch hat and trench coat. You could do that, I guess. I dunno.

Geez, maybe I should fit some physical descriptions in there somewhere? Food for thought.

Anyway. I will talk to you guys later. Thanks for reading, as always. You're all beautiful, gorgeous, and deeply, deeply great.
