“Oh my God!” Mina said.

“Holy shit!” Jacob says.

“You're alive!” they both say/said.

Mina jumps through the portal, wrapping her cousin in what is literally the world's biggest hug. (From a totally objective standpoint.) They twirl around and bump awkwardly into You, who realizes that this girl must be the girl from Jacob's story. As this occurs, Susie and Mark begin to inspect the portal frame. Almost casually, they walk/walked through in, onto Earth-Beta-2. Here, they b̶e̶g̶i̶n̶    began to absentmindedly study the complicated Ultra machinery that was all around the   Portal Chamber.

You is about to follow them in, when suddenly Klaus grabs his shoulder. You looks back at him with a quizzical expression on Your face. Then, Your face changes to one of concern; because his face is one of concern.

Jacob leans away from Mina. “How did you—? What even—?”

“I was going to ask the same of you...hideous chump-dog. Where is this place?”

“It's a long story. A very long story...but I can tell it after we finish our mission. There's a bomb...”

He begins to walk through the portal frame, dragging her behind him; but suddenly, as he stepped through, he felt resistance. He looked back, and just as he had grabbed You's shoulder, Klaus has also seized Mina's arm. She looks at him and, not knowing him, protests. Jacob sees nothing more after this.

As he slips away from her, his arm crossing the threshold between Earths Beta-2 and Beta-3, there was a gigantic explosion.
